’Restaurant Week’ in Hungary – discounted culinary heaven on 13–19 March

The annual week long culinary offer is a great success: las year 25 000 people booked their table for a Hungarian menu in any of the more then 120 restaurants that have joined the project.

You can start booking TODAY for the discounted menus to an excellent selection of Hungarian restaurants. This is going to be the 12th official Restaurant Week, and the feedbacks are more than encouraging: last years the visitors rated the restaurants on an average of 4.56 out of 5.

Some restaurants of the 120 list

  • Kistücsök – really the best on the south of Lake Balaton, as we wrote earlier.
  • Innio – a wine bar with good food, the wine list is really amazing, as we wrote here.
  • IKON Restaurant in Debrecen, a city worth visiting as we wrote earlier.

An instant tip to try during the Diningcity Restaurant Week:

The boat resides on the river Danube witt breathtaking view of both sides of the capital: Buda and Pest. Try Gróf Buttler Viognier from Eger with king prawn, porcini tartare, saffron sauce – the crispy, fresh, mineral white wine will pair perfectly with the sweetish flesh of the prawn and all the other ingredients of the meal.
