The Thummerer Winery is a family enterprise that began in 1984 when we first started grape cultivation and wine making. We produce wines from our self-established, 100-hectare vineyard in the Eger wine region. There is a wide selection of varieties on our land. In our vineyard, we grow 80% black grapes and 20% white.
Kovacs Nimrod Winery is situated in seven continuous cellars on the historic Verőszala street in the town of Eger. Back in the 18th century, there were hundreds and hundreds of wine press houses in Eger, very much like our own, which were erected above their respective cellars to handle onsite processing of the grapes.
The Gróf Buttler Winery was founded in Eger in 1999. Our oenological phylisophy is making perfect wine in keeping with the features of the land and with the least possible intervention. Today we grow vine on 36 hectares of land and our wine is exclusively made from the grapes harvested on our own cultivated vineyards. We have two vineyards in the Eger region, on Szarkás hill and on Nagy-Eged hill.
Egri Borvár – Tóth Ferenc Winery can be bravely called family winery, as through generations, old and young members of the winemaker family work every day obsessed to bring forward the good reputation of the winery and the wines of Eger.
