“Hoping July will be an out and out summer month, we chose the only still rosé wine of our assortment, the Kúria Rosé to be the wine of the month. We offer free samples throughout the month at our Wine Bar.” The invitation of Etyeki Kúria is worth considering, especially because Etyek is within a short drive from Budapest, and the estate has a lovely terrace surrounded by vineyards – a perfect place to enjoy a chilled rosé. The blend of Kékfrankos, Pinot Noir and Merlot varieties is a real vibrant fruit bomb with the colour of raspberry powder. On the nose it abounds in pink grapefruit and raspberry aromas that are further nuanced by hints of rosepepper. On the palate all these notes are complemented by white peaches and strawberries.
We have recently reported about the new community bus service of Eger wine region. Well, we are happy to announce that Etyek can also be reached by a special wine bus service on every Saturday, which leaves from Fővám square (‘Bálna’ car park) at 12.00, 13.00, 14.00 and 15.00
