Our beloved father raised us along these principles, and he established the Zsirai Winery based on them. These are the values we follow when fulfilling his dream and his legacy.
We started this winery in 2005. Nowadays we work on 15 hectares in the Tokaj region. Our center is in Mád, in the heart of Tokaj. We only produce wine from the grape we grow. We believe that the secret of good wine is excellent soil, proper selection of grapes varieties, and diligent care.
Beside the world famous aszú we produce dry white wines from furmint and hárslevelű grapes, so as late harvested sweet wines as well. Among these wines, we produce long forgotten Hungarian wines like Máslás, or Fordítás.

TOKAJI HÁRSLEVELŰ 2015
Medium gold colour. Typical linden flower on the nose with peach and citrus notes. It’s really refreshing on the palate: crispy acidity, fruitiness and a hint of minerality from the terroir.
TOKAJI FURMINT KÖZÉPHEGY 2016
On the nose flowers, linden, nectar and some mineral notes. Apricot, apricot stone. On the palate the wine is dominated by determined acidity and it is balanced with the residual sugar around 4 gramms. The honeyed, nectary, flowery notes are also present. Elegant wine with its own character which reflects the terroir as well.
TOKAJI FORDÍTÁS 2008
A wine speciality made of the second maceration af the aszú berries. It has the structure and character of a 4 ‘puttonyos’ Tokaji Aszú. However it is lighter then an Aszú. Besides the fruitiness it has firm acidity in perfect balance with the residual sugar.
TOKAJI ASZÚ 6 PUTTONYOS 2013
On the nose it is clear, complex, concentrated – a typical Aszú. On the palate it is a youthful, vivid wine with dried fruits. A balanced, creamy textured great wine from a great vintage.
